Canopy by surfing-ant Canopy by surfing-ant
Just felt like working my photomanipulation muscles :p
Not that they are particularly stong muscles in the first place really!

When I see good stock I like to use it, so I have.

Stock used:
for the pillar setting
for the tree setting
for the girl
for the rust texture

Thanks to all of these stock providers for sharing their resources

Please comment with your thoughts on this piece, what works and what doesn't? What do you like or not like about it?
Thanks to everyone who takes a moment to leave a comment!

I really like it how you have blended everything. The light seems very natural. I love it how the pillars and the trees are making a gallery and at the same time contrasting nature with civilization. Excellent work.
Thank you for using my stock :)

You always give your Pix such cool names! Im Jealous! And as for Critique.. I cant find anything! Its very professionally done..You have rendered the girl perfectly, and blended it in really well, The texture finishes it off beautifully too. The only thing that i see needs a little tweaking is the hair at the bottom.. Perhaps try just filling it out with a small brush in random waves so it looks Less fuzzy. However that is only minor and insignificant to the overall piece, so 9/10! Excellent work!

Now that comment made my week I think!!
Thought I should get some practice in before we start work on our own collab.

I called it canopy because the trees and the columns are holding up a canopy. If you look closely along the top... Yeah. Tje background was really cool, however there was a point of perspective that was a bit off, and it needed a focus. So thats where the girl comes in.

So flattered that you like it, and thanks especially for the fave! You're such great support
